Thank you for your interest in participating in Dally in the Alley 2026 as a food vendor.
Please understand that we receive a high volume of applications and we cannot accommodate everyone that applies. We are a community based festival and preference will be given to Detroit-based businesses. Application does not guarantee selection to be a vendor at Dally in the Alley.
Note: fees are NOT due at the time of application – they are only due if you are selected. Submitting fees with the application does not guarantee a spot at Dally in the Alley.
This covers all the fees required by the City and Health Department, as well as electrical hook up and booth rental.
Please download these forms to fill out and upload below.
Last Dally, all of the food vendors sold out of food. Expect to serve 10,000-20,000 people. Deep fryers are not permitted unless you are in a food truck and can dispose of the grease yourself. We have had very bad experiences with grease left on the street and the Health Department will not allow fryers.
If you are not in a food truck you will need to provide floor coverings for your cooking area. Our goal is to leave the street cleaner than we found it after the festival.
Generators are not allowed. Selected vendors will be provided with electricity.
Dally is committed to being a GREEN festival, all vendors are required to provide their own certified recyclable or compostable serving items. Any vendor who arrives without the approved products will not be allowed to open for business until they have purchased appropriate wares. I can put you in touch with our preferred vendor, Green Safe, if you would like.
Please contact us with any questions. We look forward to working with you this year.
